This Is Not Happening to You is a collection of short stories that range from Bimini to Shanghai. They concern, among other things, identity, addiction, delusion, and desire in language that’s been called poetic, Zen-like, and soaked in a sensibility reeking of New York. It’s due out in September, 2017.
Requiem for the Tree Fort I Set on Fire, is a full-length collection of poems that address issues pertaining to childhood, adolescence, self-destruction, and self-discovery. It draws on Tim’s experience in many of the places he’s lived.
Yolanda: An Oral History in Verse is the result of Tim’s work in Leyte and Samar, Philippines. He gathered oral histories from survivors of Super-typhoon Yolanda, which, in November 2013, killed over ten thousand. He reconfigured survivors’ statement into poems.
